Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist (#525272)
EMDR Therapist
Welcome — I’m Glad You’re Here
This work is my calling — to offer compassion, understanding, and hope as you move toward healing and wholeness.
Beyond credentials and techniques, my focus is on building a genuine therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and understanding.
Each person’s story is unique, and I believe in your capacity to heal, grow, and rediscover balance.
My approach blends evidence-based therapy with genuine empathy, helping you find steadiness, clarity, and renewed strength.
A Little About Me
Outside of my work, I enjoy tending to my houseplants, gazing at my fish tanks, cuddling with our pets, and spending time with my wonderful children, extended family, and friends.
Nurturing life and creating calm spaces; whether with people, plants, or animals, brings me a deep sense of peace and balance.
It’s that same sense of care and steadiness that I bring into my therapy practice each day.
My Philosophy
Healing isn’t about erasing what happened, it’s about transforming how those experiences live within you.
I believe in the strength and resilience of the human spirit, and in the quiet moments of grace that unfold when someone feels truly understood.
Life has shown me that growth often begins in small, gentle steps, and that healing takes the time and space it needs.
Guided by compassion and faith, I aim to create a space where you feel respected, supported, and valued for who you are.
No matter your beliefs, culture, or background, my goal is to walk beside you with understanding, humility, and hope.
It’s a privilege to accompany others on their path toward healing and renewal.
Clinical Experience
With over 27 years of experience as a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, I bring a deep understanding of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. Over the years, I’ve witnessed how these parts of a person’s life shape their relationships, their sense of self, and their capacity to heal. This insight guides my work, helping me support you with compassion, practicality, and a deep respect for lived experiences.
My clinical experience includes supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, betrayal, and service-related stress. I integrate evidence-based approaches with a calm, grounding presence, helping you feel safe, understood, and supported as you move toward healing and renewed strength.
My Approach to Therapy
Meaningful healing happens when you feel deeply recognized and accepted for who you are.
I meet clients where they are, offering gentle support and practical strategies that bring awareness, balance, and emotional relief.
In our work together, you can expect:
- Respect and collaboration – You are the expert on your own life; I am here to walk alongside you.
- A pace that feels safe – We move gradually, guided by your readiness.
- A holistic lens – Considering emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of wellbeing.
- A trauma-informed perspective – Prioritizing safety, trust, and empowerment.
Therapy isn’t about reliving the past; it’s about helping your mind and body integrate those experiences so you can move forward with clarity and strength.
